Time for Change Foundation

For over 12 years, Time for Change Foundation has been addressing the root causes of homelessness by providing those affected with a hand-up, rather than a hand-out." Since 2002, TFCF continues to work with homeless women in recovery from the effects of substance abuse and recidivism. Logistically in the City of San Bernardino, TFCF provides services to clients that also come from adjacent cities within the San Bernardino County region. Initially, TFCF provided housing to women transitioning from prison. Following incorporation as a nonprofit in 2003, TFCF expanded our services to include wrap-around services to all homeless women and children wishing to improve their life.

Our humble beginnings included one shelter with six beds. Today, TFCF has emergency shelter, transitional housing, 7-unit affordable housing apartment complex, and 10 scattered site apartments; bring our total housing capacity to 114 annually. To date, we have helped over 650 homeless women and children in San Bernardino County achieve self-sufficiency through evidenced-based programing, thereby, creating stronger thriving families within our San Bernardino county Region.
