The Mission of Time Out is to help individuals break the cycle of domestic violence.

  Our overarching goal is to ensure individuals' ongoing safety through services that provide support, advocacy and resources.  We accomplish our mission through three major programs that address survivor safety: healing, justice and economic empowerment.  Our programs provide crisis intervention and hotline services, emergency shelter beds with basic essentials, educational and therapeutic support groups, safety planning, advocacy, lay legal advocacy, employment assistance, emergency financial support and specially designed children's services.  Collectively, we refer to these services as our "Hope & Healing" program.

All of our programs are designed to help adults and children escape and heal from abuse, and transition into stable and improved well-being, ultimately ending violence in the lives of those who have suffered.
