Tinas Childrens Foundation Inc

Tina's Children's Foundation was started by the founder, Tina Carletta in 2016. While volunteering in her grandson's school during the holiday season, she noticed a significant need. She was made aware that many of our local children go without Christmas gifts due to the unfortunate financial circumstances of their family. She had been searching for ways to give back to the community and started a little annual toy drive to help these families in need. Now we are a 501 (C) 3 non-profit that is growing every year. Tina's Children's Foundation enhances the lives of local children with our annual Toy Drive, Summer Food Program and Back To School Backpacks. We seek out families through churches, schools, organizations or referrals. Then we contact the families personally and deliver directly to their homes so no child goes without during the holidays and the summer when resources are limited. 

The Annual Toy Drive, families and friends come together bringing assorted toys for children from 0-18 yrs old. Unfortunately it only touches the surface. In order for Tina's Children's Foundation to fulfill the needs of our families, we have to purchase additional toys. Toys are then sorted according to families ages and needs, then delivered to the families directly for parents to give to their children. Our 2022 Toy Drive made Christmas possible for 67 families and 189 children and the need is growing every year. 

In 2023 Tina's Children's Foundation added a Summer Food Program for families who rely on the no-cost food system during the school year. During the months of June, July and August we delivered to 42 families over 600 bags of groceries directly to the families homes. 

Tina's Children's Foundation started the Back-To-School Backpacks in conjunction with our Summer Food Program. In 2023, we gave over 150 children backpacks to start the new school year. 

It is only with the help and support of generous individuals and organizations that we will make a profound difference in the lives of children in our local community.
