For 46 years, Tommy Nobis Center has been a trailblazing service provider and advocate for equitable education and employment opportunities for people with disabilities. Now more than ever, we recognize that access to work readiness instruction for youth with disabilities is vital to their professional success. In response, we are embarking on new endeavors to increase impact among Georgia’s youth with disabilities. Through our Early Youth Employment Services (EYES) and our newest program, The Academy, youth with disabilities are transformed into skilled, motivated workers who are empowered to achieve their career goals.

 This GAgives on Giving Tuesday, your support of Tommy Nobis Center will fund educational scholarships for youth and young adults with disabilities, instilling hope and opening the door to deserved opportunity. 

 Your contribution today is a priceless investment in the future of our youth and a celebration of the value of all abilities. Here is how your donation will support the educational pathway of youth with disabilities:

·        $50 provides classroom supplies for students with disabilities.

·        $100 creates community engagement opportunities with potential employers through student tours to local businesses.

·        $250 equips students with job readiness skills through classroom-based sessions on resume building, interviewing, and dressing for success.  

·        $500 creates on-the-job, paid training opportunities for students in our EYES or Academy programs.

·        $1,000 helps provide five students with one week of summer camp.
