You can make a direct impact on your community today by donating just $5, $10, or $20 to The ToolBox Project. Help us meet our big goal of fundraising for a mobile tool library program that will help us reach more neighborhoods who have folks that need access to tools!
Do you like to build things?
ToolBox Project is a nonprofit tool lending library providing low barrier access to building and garden tools. Our mission is to share tools, skills, and knowledge to empower people and build community. Since 2016, we've been sharing tools out of our little blue shed in the Friendly Neighborhood. In five years, we've grown to serve nearly 500 members -- and most recently just completed 15,000 tool loans! Now, we know it's time to expand and we need your help.
Do you like to find ways to improve things around you?
Help us meet our goal of raising $5000 towards a mobile tool library by the end of the year!
Ensuring that EVERYONE in our community has affordable access to tools is crucial to us. Being able to work with your hands to build, repair, disassemble and improve is something we are passionate about – and believe our neighbors would be, too, if they had the tools and resources to do so!
To better serve all of Eugene, we are fundraising to purchase a van we can turn into a mobile tool library. With your help, we will outfit this mobile tool library to have a wifi hotspot and room to collect and share donations at community sites. We often partner with regional and local recreation centers, and our mobile tool library will enhance the services they provide. A mobile tool library will enable us to visit every neighborhood in the greater Eugene/Springfield area, bringing tools and resources to everyone who needs them.
Anything you can give adds up. We are proud to be an almost entirely volunteer-run, community-supported organization so we know that if we come together right now and give what we can, then we can do this. Thank you for believing in tool sharing and the power of community!
