Toys 4 Smiles

We use donated scrap wood to make toys and give away to children of all ages in need of a smile. Our hope is that each child that gets a toy, will no longer be able to say that no one cares about him or her.

We are 100% volunteer. No salaries are drawn.

Three individuals started in July 2006 and their goal was to make and give away 500 toys a year. In February 2015, we will give away toy 300,000! :- )

Among the memories:

• The man who would not move his arms until his wife put a toy on his serving tray in the hospital. He reached out and began to roll it back and forth
• The fourth grade girl that said the toy made her feel like a kid again. She looked up and said "I am a kid!"
• The child in the emergency room clutching her toy as she was about to get a shot.

The miracles that happen because someone gave us their scrap wood that could have been thrown away. :- )
