Across Texas, animals are suffering like never before. City-funded shelters are closing their doors in pursuit of misleading statistics, leaving countless dogs abandoned on the streets. It’s heartbreaking, wrong, and it goes against everything we believe in.

At Tracy’s Paws, we fight for those with no voice. Every dog we rescue is spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm, Chagas, and tick-borne illnesses, started on preventatives, and given the medical care they desperately need. We rescue the hard cases...the ones others overlook...because we #LoveThemAll.

Thanks to the Adam R. Scripps Foundation, our new kennel building, The Milton, is complete and we are fully moved in. We continue to be a leader in education and are now in our third year teaching in the Uvalde ISD school district because we believe lasting change must begin with teaching and compassion.

But we can’t do this alone. This year, we are raising funds for:

• Secure fencing and safety measures at The Milton


• A large dog area 


• Escalating veterinary and operating costs


• Preparing for a new transport vehicle


• Ongoing medical sponsorships for critical cases

We are an all-volunteer rescue built on love, integrity, and quality of care...never numbers. Every gift, no matter the size, helps us save lives, educate communities, and set a higher standard in rescue.

Who We Are

TracysPawsRescue started in January 2020 with a group of dedicated dog lovers that wanted to make a difference and continue the mission of saving dogs. Many of us, including me (Tracy) branched off from a previous organization to start TracysPawsRescue and together, we have saved hundreds of dogs that needed our help. We save dogs that have the greatest need. Some are strays from the streets and many are dogs that are from Kill Shelters near the Border of Mexico with pending euthanasia dates. We love all breeds including bullies and have a special tender heart towards the medical cases. Our Mission is to provide rehabilitation and prepare the dogs for homes with people that demonstrate the ability to provide a loving, safe forever home. With your help, we can expand our program to help even more dogs in need. There are SO many here....and together we can work towards making an even bigger difference in their lives. Dogs are here to teach us how to be better people.... and if we learn to #LiveLikeaDog, we will be happy like they are. #LoveWins
