Translife

Translife is a volunteer-run, nonprofit organization and fiscal sponsee of Positive Images in Santa Rosa, CA that envisions a safe world for the transgender and gender-expansive community to experience peace, joy, and connectedness.

We serve Sonoma County and surrounding areas, including but not limited to Mendocino County and Lake County, with special emphasis on rural communities.

Our mission is to foster a vibrant, healthy, and responsive community of, for, and by our transgender and gender-expansive population, those who love them, and those who support them.

100% of your donation goes toward serving our community, and will directly fund:

• The Translife Community Conference, which brings together transgender/gender-expansive individuals from the North Bay (and beyond!) to increase connections, share information, and expand individual self-advocacy and knowledge.
• The Translife Professional Symposium, which equips, empowers, and connects medical, mental/behavioral health, legal, government, and educational professionals - with a focus on the unique needs, challenges, and cultural competencies necessary to provide sensitive and appropriate care to the transgender/gender-expansive community.
• Social, educational, and community building events for transgender/gender-expansive individuals in Sonoma County and surrounding areas.
