fundraiser
Seagrass Restoration in Moore's Creek
$10,094 Raised
The Treasure Coast Manatee Foundation works tirelessly to encourage environmental responsibility for the protection of the Indian River Lagoon and its inhabitants, including the Florida manatee. Together with the Manatee Observation & Education Center, the Foundation targets education programs and exhibits most in need of sponsorship, and brings them to life.
Over the years, the Foundation has sponsored environmental education to hundreds of children through the Manatee Center Summer Camps, St. Lucie County Boys & Girls Club, Hibiscus Children's Home, SWORD Mentoring, and more. The Foundation has also provided scholarships to local graduating seniors interested in pursuing a degree in the field of environmental science, and has given classroom mini-grants to local teachers for classroom projects designed to enhance conservation efforts.
Please help this local nonprofit continue to bring environmental awareness to the Indian River Lagoon. Your support is an investment in our most cherished local resource - the natural environment.
Treasure Coast Manatee Foundation is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization.
