TREASURE VALLEY YOUTH THEATER, dba TVCT

WE BELIEVE performing arts programs have a powerful impact on the health and success of youth and their contribution to our world. 

Treasure Valley Youth Theater, Inc., doing business as Treasure Valley Children's Theater (TVCT), is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth through arts-training and leadership development programs. Young artists are motivated to change the world through their Respect, Enthusiasm, Courage, Commitment, Excellence, and appreciation for the transformative power of the arts.

We produced our first program in October of 2013 with 16 kids. Since then, we’ve expanded to 3-4 performance programs, more than 60 educational workshops, classes, and a season of plays for young audiences with our adult acting company!

TVCT provides young people more than just a performance opportunity; through our leadership-development programs, performers learn real-life skills including financial management, fundraising, marketing, goal setting, team work, creative problem solving and more. Participants are also exposed to production responsibilities such as set design, creating props, and assisting with costumes and box office. By the time the curtain goes up, the young performers truly understand what it takes to produce a professional-quality performance, and they’ve gained valuable life skills along the way.
