About Us

Tree San Diego collaborates with local and state government agencies, nonprofits, community organizations, and businesses to plant the right trees in the right places with the right care. We are committed to San Diego County’s urban forest for the benefit of people, the environment, and the future.

In a time when environmental stewardship is instrumental to maintaining the future health and wellbeing of this planet and its inhabitants, it is the responsibility of local leaders and residents alike to improve their surroundings and enrich local communities. In disadvantaged communities (DACs) where investment in environmental projects is lacking and urban forests are at times poorly maintained, nonprofits, like Tree San Diego, can directly impact the triple bottom line.
