Mission: 

Inspire and encourage connection by fostering new and emerging writers from the margins to create social equity reflecting community values Minnesotans have cultivated for generations.

Vision: 

To build an inclusive community of engaged creatives by publishing writing that challenges expectations with diversity of expression, and promote understanding of literature for all.

Writers influence our communities. You can give new voices a place in it. 

Even a small contribution allows us to 

* pay our interns for their work, bringing opportunities to students who might not be able to afford to participate in unpaid internship opportunities

* support Minnesotans from underrepresented groups as they develop manuscripts for publication with Trio House Press

* grow our press and continue to publish new and diverse voices in poetry and creative nonfiction
