Tru Vista Foundation Inc

Since 1996, Tru Vista has provided case management, peer mentorship support and limited financial supports to all clients in Washoe County Safe Babies Court, Family Treatment Court to help them provide safe and stable living to be reunited with their children after removal by Washoe County Human Services.

Tru Vista works with the Washoe County Court and Human Services Agency to support 50+ families each year (more than 70 children) who have had involvement with Washoe County Human Services and children have been removed from the parents’ care due to substance use and mental health disorders. Tru Vista continues to serve these families for years, even after their court case has closed and children have been reunited to help them maintain sobriety and continue to provide a safe and stable home.
