Truckee Meadows Tomorrow (TMT) is dedicated to providing you with comprehensive, unbiased indicator data used to improve quality of life outcomes across a broad spectrum of needed community impacts. Have you ever wondered—

• What's the relationship between household income and graduation across neighborhood schools? 

• How recruiting new businesses is influenced by the region's educational attainment, age shifts in the population and affordable housing?

• Are crimes more likely in neighborhoods without parks, the arts, food stores, sidewalks and bike lanes? 

 

Here's how your contribution can help TMT raise $5,000 to implement mapping, data visualization and interactive website tools — Numbers may be boring, but every data point has a story. These new tools will allow you to: (1) learn more about your neighborhood issues, (2) tell a visual story about what’s important, and then (3) compel others to act for positive change. Community questions are endless, but you'll be able to sleuth all your quality of life questions, like those above, and more.  

Partner/Sponsor an Indicator — TMT's 33-quality of life indicators require ongoing research and updates to remain current and valuable to northern Nevada. $1,000 can create a partnership for the indicator of your choice and ensure ongoing data measure updates—monthly, quarterly, annually and even real-time for some data measures. 

The community's 33 indicators (>200 data/performance measures) cross the following 10-quality of life categories:

• Economic wellbeing
• Education & lifelong learning
• Enrichment
• Health & wellness
• Innovation
• Land use & infrastructure
• Natural environment
• Public wellbeing

 

TMT is unique in that we:

2. Track these data overtime and report the unbiased trends affecting your wellbeing
3. Engage nonprofit/public/private organizations to find solutions to community challenges
4. Facilitate collaborative actions to improve quality of life in the Northern Nevada region

TMT has successfully achieved its mission since 1993, and has been building a better community for over 25 years.
