True Measure Collaborative

The True Measure Collaborative exists to dismantle systemic barriers in education, fostering equitable and inclusive learning environments that support students with disabilities and multilingual learners in reaching their full potential.  

In Washington State, systemic barriers for multilingual learners are especially high: on the most recent state assessments, only 14.3% of multilingual learners met grade-level standards in ELA (as compared to 50.7% of all Washington students), and only 14.4% of multilingual learners met grade level in math (as compared to 39.1% of all Washington students.) This May, the TMC is asking our community to support us in creating more opportunities for multilingual learners to access high-quality instruction that centers their brilliance.  

Gifts to the TMC this year will directly support our Multilingual Learner Program, and our work with our partner organization, Seeing Beyond. 

The TMC and Seeing Beyond share a commitment to providing job-embedded coaching, professional development, and system-wide audits to support special educators and promote anti-racist, inclusive education.  

The multilingual learner program provides a series of comprehensive, school-wide learning opportunities for educators and school leaders to improve their practice and culturally responsive approaches. 

A gift of $1000 could support a half-day professional learning opportunity for a full school-based team (15-25 educators) serving multilingual learners. 

A gift of $500 could support a consultation session for a school administration team looking to expand and improve school-wide multilingual learner programming. 

A gift of $250 could support two hours of personalized coaching services for a school-based multilingual learning coordinator. 

A gift of $100 could support travel costs for two onsite school visits by our team of multilingual learner experts. 

A gift of any size is meaningful and will help us reach our goals!
