True North of Columbia is a 501(c)(3) agency that was established in 1984 as a rape crisis center and subsequently expanded its services to include domestic violence support. Today, True North offers a comprehensive range of victim services for intimate partner domestic violence, sexual violence, sex trafficking and stalking. The services provided are designed to empower those who have been abused, enabling victims to begin the healing process and work towards regaining control of their lives. Services include emergency shelter, 24/7 hotline, court & hospital advocacy services, counseling, safety planning, domestic and sexual violence education, and support groups. All services are free and confidential.
