TrueCare

For over 50 years, TrueCare has provided high-quality, heartfelt health care to the underserved communities of San Diego and Riverside County. Our goal is to make health care available to everyone regardless of their insurance status or ability to pay. From our first healthcare clinic opening in 1974, we have steadily grown into a network of 11 thriving health centers serving over 60,000 patients a year. 

Those who are vulnerable experience homelessness, foster care, poverty, systemic racism, and many other socioeconomic barriers that put them at greater risk of not receiving health care. Whether being unable to take time off work or the cost of transportation, they are in dire need of support and compassion. Your donations will make all the difference in ensuring no one has to choose between feeding their family and caring for their health. 

Our responses to the health care needs of these underserved families and individuals drives our mission “to improve the health status of our diverse communities by providing quality healthcare that is comprehensive, affordable, and culturally sensitive.” We invite you to join us in impacting the lives of those most in need.  

Our comprehensive services include adult and pediatric primary care, women's health, dental, behavioral health, chiropractic, and a full range of services to help clear the pathway to accessing care. TrueCare makes receiving health care easier and more convenient with virtual visits, transportation to TrueCare appointments and back home, mobile medical and dental services, and free assistance in applying and utilizing health insurance, just to name a few. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we've remained a trusted resource by meeting our community's timely needs with free COVID-19 testing and vaccines, increased food distributions, and help with applying for rental assistance programs.
