Addy's Attic Homeless Ministry

We have so many things that we are trying to do right now to help the homeless in our community. We have a Thrift Store called Addy's Attic, located at 280 Marion Avenue. We  give clothes and toiletries to the homeless, Also people are able to shop there and  that supports the ministry. With the money raised from the shoppers we pay the rent and utilities of the thrift store , if any money is left over we support the  Elijah's house we use as  a Transitional Discipleship  house on Third Street where we have six men living. We also have a warming center located at the Salvation Army on Main Street for when the temperature drops we open 7 Pm to 7 Am.

With Money raised we are able to also buy bus and airline tickets to get the homeless back home that are displaced , as well as motel rooms at times. All of this is only if we have the money and we need lots of support to fund all of this. Monthly support is definitely appreciated. We also can use things like toilet paper and paper towels, cleaning supplies, new under garments for the men and women and personal care items.
