Please consider supporting our organization to help us promote running, healthy living, wellness for everyone and running programs in our community.
We sponsor the Thanksgiving Day Trout Valley Turkey Trot and the Father's Day 10K/5K. Additionally, our members donate 100's of hours during Cary Main Street Fest in September and Cary Pride Day in April.
We have a rear-round commitment to our community, our youth and promoting healthy living. Please visit our webpage at: http://www.ttcca.org
We also partner with the local high school running program. The following is a letter from the coaching staff:
This spring, in April, our athletes will be doing a community service project in Cary and Fox River Grove to raise funds for our program. Over the last few years we have been able to update and upgrade much of our equipment. Now our focus is on protecting those upgrades with a storage facility. All proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards two projects: the aforementioned storage facility and a much needed renovation and upgrade to the cold-water therapy pool our athletes utilize on a regular basis.
On Saturday, April 22, 2017, members of the boys and girls teams will be doing Community service with both the Village of Cary and the Fox River Grove Park District. Below are a few examples of the projects we have helped with in recent years:
On Sunday, April 23, 2017, members of the boys and girls teams will be hosting our annual Special Olympics Meet at Cary-Grove High School.
Our athletes also give back to the community by donating time to other community events. For example, many team members have also volunteered to:
It is our hope that your generosity in sponsoring our program will help us to continue providing the best possible opportunities for our athletes.
Our goal as a coaching staff is to help our athletes not only develop their athletic ability, but also to become mature and responsible citizens in their community. We have chosen the community service approach because we believe it is an extension of what we try to instill in our athletes everyday. By making a pledge to this activity you can help us reinforce the message of responsible citizenship and help us generate funds to keep our program strong and a positive experience for our athletes.
We are a 501(c)(3) organization and all donations are tax deductible per IRS guidelines.
Thank you in advance for your financial support!
Sincerely,
Layne Holter, Head Boys Coach
Mark Anderson, Head Girls Coach
