$10 for Tucker!

This year our goal is to have every Tucker family and friend donate $10. Just $10 can make a huge impact on our school. We are aiming to raise enough money to purchase new teacher resource books and new technology items to benefit the entire school.

Students receive reading instruction in small groups on their level each day. We need lots of quality fiction and nonfiction texts at all levels to instruct and motivate students. We need to both replenish and add to our intermediate guided reading selections. These books are essential to promote fluency, comprehension and growth as readers.

Teachers use SmartBoard projectors to display information from their computers onto the SmartBoard. Many classrooms have the projectors on tables in the middle of the room where they are often in the way, subject to being blocked by students and at risk of being bumped and damaged. Getting them mounted will help protect this expensive equipment and improve its utilization.

Again this year, we will receive a matching grant of up to $1000.00 provided by Bruhn-Morris Family Foundation. 

Your support will contribute to the academic success of 750 students at Samuel Tucker Elementary School.
