Tuesdays Children

Since 2001, Tuesday's Children has promoted healing and recovery by strenghtening family resilience, providing individual coping and life management skills and creating community through programs, mental health support and family engagement opportunities.

In any tragedy, we memorialize those who are lost; but we must never lose sight of, and do all we can for, those who are left, for they are our most important living memorials, and can become our most valuable ambassadors.

Tuesday's Children serves all those directly impacted by the events of September 11, 2001—children, families, 9/11 responders—through life-changing programs and services.   Our international program, Project Common Bond, brings together young people from around the world who have lost a family member to an act of terrorism, to heal together and learn important leadership and peace-building skills.

Tuesday’s Children strength is based on community, as connecting those with similar experiences has a profound and positive impact on their collective healing.
