Each year hundreds of trained, adult volunteers provide weekly one-to-one tutoring for 370 students in grades one through six. Being a consistent source of encouragement and positive interaction can dramatically influence the self-confidence and future success of a young student. With the support of generous donors, Tutoring Chicago has been able to continually improve its services and expand its boundaries. With your help, we hope to reach even more deserving, economically disadvantaged children in the coming year.

Mission: Tutoring Chicago fosters pathways for success by positively influencing the relationship that elementary school children have with learning. We do this by providing economically disadvantaged children in Chicago with free one-to-one tutoring by adult volunteers, along with quality resources and programming.
