OUR MISSION TAG+ promotes community wellness and celebrates our diversity through support, education, outreach, and advocacy.

Founded in May 2008, TAG+ is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to serving LGBTQ+ individuals and allies in East Texas. Our mission is to promote wellness and celebrate diversity through support, education, outreach, and advocacy. TAG+ works to educate the public about issues affecting LGBTQ+ people, eliminate prejudice and bullying, and raise awareness about the importance of defending human and civil rights for all.

Rooted in the spirit of community and powered by compassion, TAG+ believes in the strength that comes from working together. We create safe, inclusive spaces where everyone can be their authentic selves without fear of judgment or repression. Through peer support groups, educational initiatives, and advocacy campaigns, TAG+ fosters understanding and combats the negative forces of hate, violence, and isolation.

By celebrating the diverse experiences of the LGBTQ+ community and their allies, TAG+ promotes dignity, respect, and acceptance. Our vision is a world where everyone feels valued, empowered, and included.
