UrbanReachSTL, Inc.

UrbanReachSTL, Inc. has been serving the Columbus Square community for 8 years. What started as a small backyard Bible Club, has grown into 8-weeks of free Summer Bible Club, weekly community-wide dinners, small groups, mentorships and the restoration of the old Fellowship Center on 9th Street. 

This Give STL Day, all of the funds raised will go towards expanding our Summer Intern Program, in which teens/young adults from the community are paid to assist with Bible Club, afternoon field trips and community meals. Summer interns from the community are interviewed and chosen based on their ability to lead, act as a positive role model and their passion to teach others about God. With graduation rates significantly lower and unemployment rates significantly higher than other neighborhoods, this is a tangible way to help bridge gaps within the community. Our interns are a vital part of ensuring that Bible Club not only runs smoothly but is impactful. Our 4 hired interns are poured into the entire summer to build their skills as a leader within their own community. This Give STL Day, partner with us in creating jobs that will leave a lasting impact in the life of a teen! 

Our interns are paid $1800 for the summer and are paid weekly. Help us raise $7200 to hire 4 community interns!
