Ukiah Valley Christmas Effort

We were founded in 1945 by a group of teachers who saw that many children would not have a Christmas.  Working with local businessmen and fraternities, the Effort was begun.

Since that time, we have done this every year and now serve over 750 families annually.  The poor economy has hit us hard and donations are down and needs are up.

With donations from the community and the local motorcycle club's toy run, we give each family a box of food, two for larger families. and a box of gifts for the younger children.  We also give gifts to the seniors.
