When Tarek and I initially started doing our research regarding puppy adoptions we quickly became discouraged about the process. Many rescues and adoption agencies felt so cooperate and competitive that we put our search on hold. When a friend recommended Megan Weber and Underdogs Animal Rescue we immediately felt comfortable with the adoption process and the one-on-one attention our puppy search received from the Underdogs staff. And when Megan started sending pictures of an adorable three month old fluff ball, we were doomed to become puppy parents that very day. The Underdogs team helped us find the perfect pup to fit seamlessly into our lives. Sydney hikes, runs with our mountain bikes, loves sleeping in our tiny two person tent with us and overall fits perfectly into the Colorado family package! We have been so lucky to find a dog that makes every day a little better, even if she is chewing on any bra she can get her paws on. We have Underdogs Animal Rescue to thank for helping us make our family a little larger, but much more complete.

The first time I met Rosie, I cried. She was 5 months old, energetic, and had just arrived to Denver from Kansas City. My husband and I were going to spend a few hours with her to decide if we were going to adopt her from Underdogs Animal Rescue. It took all of 10 seconds for me to decide she was joining our family after she climbed in my lap on the drive home and wouldn't stop licking my face. Like I said, I cried the whole way home and kept asking her, "Are you going to be my dog?" Adopting Rosie was one of the best decisions my husband and I have ever made.
