DISCOVERY PLACE - Union Museum of History and Art is here to reflect the heart and soul of our community: our people's colorful history, our varied cultures, our artistic natures.  But we need YOUR help to continue building for the future, being an educational resource, and gathering us all together to discover more, share more, be more.  YOUR DONATION will help us reach the goal of $3000 by October 15, and make us eligible for a really big grant from the Gannett Foundation.

"Be the One for 2021" is our campaign slogan because we are planning great things for next year. This poor old year has been rough, and frankly, we will be glad to see the end of 2020.   BUT NEXT YEAR is full of big plans:

• Science Careers Fair  (Jan. 12)
• Launch of the permanent Indian Artifacts Exhibit (spring)
• Folklife Festival (April)
• "Bees, Please!" pollinators exhibit (summer)
• "Wowie!" Art Show for kids (July)
• Tribute to Healthcare Providers (fall)
• Ongoing classes and workshops for kids and adults on history, art, science
• Launch the permanent 1920s-era kitchen scene
