Unitarian Society of Northampton and Florence

We are a congregation with a tradition of liberal faith and committed social action, and a member of the Unitarian Universalist Association of Congregations.  We begin our worship on Sunday mornings with a welcome to everyone: newcomers and longtime members, young and old and in-between, lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender, queer and straight.  When you visit us we will also welcome you with smiles, and with a communal worship service that we hope will inspire you, touch your heart, and make you want to stay and learn more about us.

We are a congregation that affirms and welcomes people of all races, genders, and sexual orientations.  We strive to be a caring community where children and adults can safely learn and grow in mind, spirit and desire to serve.  We come from many different faith traditions, and follow different paths.  What binds us together is our respect for each other, our willingness to listen, our commitment to the principles of Unitarian Universalism, and the promises we make to create a community together.  We worship, we teach our children and each other, we serve the hungry, we sponsor social justice programs and events.  And we have fun!
