OUR MISSION...

The United Jewish Federation of Utah builds and sustains a vibrant Jewish Community that: cares for those in need; deepens engagement in Jewish life; and strengthens bonds among Jews in Utah, Israel, and throughout the world.

ABOUT US...

Acting on our core values of compassion, charity, generosity, and responsibility, we care for people in need and inspire Jewish life and learning. Through our network of partner agencies, we actively seek out and support innovative solutions in order to: inspire, educate and connect people to their Jewish identity; care for the vulnerable; and comfort and rescue those in need.

OTHER EXAMPLES OF OUR IMPACT THIS YEAR...

Year-round Israeli Emissary (Shlicha) – Each year, Israel sends emissaries into communities around the world to strengthen Jewish identity and connection to Israel. Talia Goldberg, our shlicha, will serve as a year-round resource at Temple Har Shalom and in our community, as well as working with our synagogues and social service partners.

Sleep-away Camp Scholarship Fund- One of the greatest keys to ensure the Jewish future is for young people to have a Jewish Summer camp experience. Camp is a place where life-long friendships are made, and strong connections to Jewish Identity are established.

No Place For Hate and anti-Semitism – The Federation has taken an active role in the community working with government officials, law enforcement, faith leaders, school districts, and parents to initiate education around anti-Semitism, hate, and bias – using No Place for Hate curricula provided by the ADL.

LIVE GENEROUSLY...IT DOES A WORLD OF GOOD!
