        “The US SAILING Center of Martin County is committed to broadening the base of the sport of sailing through dedicated and affordable community programs for youth and adults and providing support for the development of future champions and Olympians.”

The USSCMC offers educational instruction, sailing certifications, summer camps, middle and high school sailing programs, community support, racing, and world-class regattas. The Sailing Center could not achieve its mission to serve without the support of generous donors, members, dedicated volunteers, and US SAILING. 

The Sailing Center has grown tremendously in the past few years, and our programs are busting at the seam. We are wrapping up our largest sailing camp in our history, with over 525 youth sailors joining us this summer. We offer programs for Opti Development, Opti Racing, Middle School Sailing, High School Sailing , and Varsity and JV High School Racing. Our Sailing Center is the home training site for Jensen Beach High School, Martin County High School, South Fork High School, and the Pine School.

With Worldwide Impact

The US SAILING Center of Martin County is a 501 non-profit organization and our reach extends beyond our community as we welcome sailors from around the world to the Sailing Center. In addition to being a community resource, we host several major scale regattas, including the Junior Olympic Sailing Festival, C420 Midwinters for the John V, Hanson Trophy, and the Optimist Sunshine State Championship. This year, we are excited to welcome the Waszp USA Midwinter Championship and the Melges 15 Winter Series. Through these regattas, and many local regattas, our Sailing Center welcomes thousands of competitors to our site, which provides a positive impact on local tourism.
