Provide free books to local children every month by supporting United Way’s Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library right here in Cowlitz & Wahkiakum Counties.

Many local children don’t have access to books in their homes, and studies show that providing free books to children every month helps remove barriers to books, increases literacy rates, improves family engagement, and helps children prepare for kindergarten.

United Way of Cowlitz & Wahkiakum Counties is the proud program partner of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, providing free age-appropriate books to children every month from birth to age five.

Join us! Every $30 provides free monthly books to one child for an entire year, opening doors and making a difference in their lives! Your donation will be matched and DOUBLED, making your donation go even further and supporting more children.

Since this program began in our community, over 200,000 books have been mailed out to local children, helping over 7,800 local children and their families. Join us in investing in local children and providing the strong academic foundation they need to succeed.
