The United Way of Pioneer Valley and Six Flags New England are partnering to help area children stay on track—supplying children who are homeless with a new backpack filled with school supplies on their first day of school.
This year, donations made to the United Way of Pioneer Valley during Valley Gives during the Valley Gives online fundraising day (May 3), will support the Stuff the Bus initiative, now in its sixth year. Last year, our volunteers helped fill over 1,500 backpacks distributed to students who are homeless in Springfield, Holyoke, Westfield, Chicopee, West Springfield, and South Hadley.
As an added bonus for those who contribute online, donations of $40 will receive a free ticket to Six Flags New England. Additional bonus tickets are available for every additional $35 donated ($40—1 ticket, $75—2 tickets, $110—3 tickets, $145—4 tickets, $180—5 tickets). A maximum of five bonus tickets will be offered to each online donor. Offer is valid for a limited time only while supplies last.
Help the United Way of Pioneer Valley make a real difference in the lives of area children. Valley Gives is on May 3, but you can contribute as early as April 2.
