The mission of the United Way of Walla Walla County is to increase the organized capacity of the people of Walla Walla County to care for one another. Our strength comes from our local presence and intimate understanding of our community. Gifts to the United Way Community Fund and our partner agencies stay in Walla Walla County, and are strategically used to address the most pressing issues in our community. We are maximizing the impact of your gift. We are focused on solutions for our community. United Way of Walla Walla County (UWWWC) is a local nonprofit devoted to leading community change to improve lives in Walla Walla County. United Way's efforts are focused on four specific community strategies: - Strengthening & Supporting Families - Helping Children & Youth Succeed - Providing Basic Needs & Promoting Self-Sufficiency - Supporting Health, Safety & Vulnerable Populations United Way of Walla Walla County is governed by local volunteers who work to stay abreast of community challenges. As a community impact organization and steward of philanthropic dollars, UWWWC provides the critical link between people who care and the community programs that make a positive impact on the lives of Walla Walla area residents.
