United for Iran is a group of campaigners, issue experts and Iranian activists that work and advocate for an end to human rights violations in Iran.

We have organized the largest international demonstration in support of human rights in Iran in history with 250,000 participating in 110 cities. Our friends and supporters have sent more than 500,000 postcards and online letters on behalf of Iran’s political prisoners, and organized hundreds of rallies around the world.

In 2014, we launched the innovative Iran Prison Atlas, a real-time tool designed to protect all political prisoners by documenting their cases and shining light on how they are abused by the system. It is the most comprehensive source of information about Iran’s political prisoners. It includes background information, details of persecutions, and the treatment each political prisoner receives after arrest. We share our data with UN officials, national governments, and advocacy groups.
