We’re focused on improving early reading!

Why does early reading matter?  It predicts a child’s success in school, the community and their career. A child’s reading proficiency by the end of third grade has a direct connection to their likelihood of graduating high school. Every high school drop-out costs our community an estimated $260,000 in support due to lost earnings, taxes and productivity. Let’s turn the page on this issue and improve our community together.
