United Way St. Croix Valley

United Way St. Croix Valley fights for the health, education, and financial stability of every person in the Greater St. Croix Valley, by ensuring every family in Burnett, Pierce, Polk and St. Croix Counties has access to the basic necessities of life. 

Did you know that ONE in THREE families in America struggles to afford diapers, wipes, and other essentials for their children? In the St. Croix Valley, the situation is no different. A lack of clean diapers not only affects the health and well-being of babies, but also puts an enormous strain on families’ finances and mental well-being. 

That's why we’ve launched the United Way St. Croix Valley Diaper Bank. Our continued goal is to provide diapers to families in need, so they can focus on other essential needs like food, shelter, and healthcare. With your support, we can continue to provide this essential service to our community.  Currently UWSCV partners with THREE local food pantries, in Polk and Pierce Counties, to help provide basic needs for local families.

In the United States, diapers are not covered by federal or state assistance programs like SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) or WIC (Women, Infants and Children). This can make it challenging for families to afford enough diapers to keep their children clean, dry, and healthy.

During giveBIG, we’re asking for YOUR help to raise funds to purchase diapers and other essential baby supplies for families in need. 100% of your donation will go directly towards buying diapers and distributing them to families in our communities.
