The University of Nebraska Foundation is an independent, nonprofit organization that has raised private gifts to support the University of Nebraska for nearly 80 years.

Your gift to the University of Nebraska Foundation through Give to Lincoln Day will support the Nebraska Legends Scholarship and Recruitment Program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

The Nebraska Legends Scholarship and Recruitment Program provides financial assistance to incoming college freshmen and supports them with programs that improve academic, social and life skills, making them more likely to stay in school. Legends Scholarship recipients are positioned for academic success, because they are encouraged and motivated to do well through campus involvement, mentoring, academic advisement and networking. 

The Legends Program also provides the university with financial resources needed to recruit the best and brightest students to UNL, keeping our high-potential talent in state.
