Upper Chichester's "TINY but MIGHTY" Library began on September 10, 2001, as an Eagle Scout project by brothers George and Gregory Daniels. They collected over 10,000 books and opened the township's first public library in a 1,500 square-foot storfront, where it serves over 17,000 people in their community.
NOW we are ready to GROW! Our dream is to move into a larger 8,000 square-foot space at the Boothwyn Fire Station. This will allow us to expand programs for kids, seniors and families - and better serve our community's needs.
For 23 years, we've offered story times, STEM classes, senior programs, employment help, summer reading, and more - all with the tiny team of professionals and volunteers. But we've outgrown our space.
We invite you to help us BUILD our NEXT CHAPTER - a new, ADA-accessible library and resource center for everyone in Upper Chichester. Join us in making something extraordinary...A PLACE for ALL, BUILT by ALL.
