If so, you can imagine the anxiety and self-doubt of unemployment. This is what an estimated 1.8M skilled immigrants feel like every day, combined with the stress of navigating a new culture and language. This is the overlooked population we coach, inspire, and champion.

Upwardly Global works with immigrants, refugees and asylees who have a higher education and work experience in their home countries, but, despite having the legal right to work in the U.S., are unable to find jobs. If they do find work, it is usually low-wage roles that do not fit their skills and experience.

Here at Upwardly Global, we believe that every new American should have the opportunity to realize their potential. We provide online training and one-on-one coaching to immigrant professionals from around the world to help them navigate the U.S. job search and get their first professional U.S. job. These jobs benefit not just immigrant professionals, but their families, their employers, and their new American communities.

Last year, we reached a milestone – we have placed 3000 new American professionals into jobs since UpGlo was founded!
