Urban Hope envisions thriving multi-income communities that share a hope for their future. We envision high-quality, affordable rental housing and higher levels of  homeownership, providing stability for families and a reason to invest in neighborhoods. We envision just restorations of blighted neighborhoods, in which existing residents benefit just as much as new ones. In short, we envision a city marked by the ancient biblical principle of shalom: spiritual, social and economic flourishing.

• Relationship/Partnership Focused: God’s work is accomplished when people of diverse communities bring together their strengths in order to mutually serve one another and the city. (1 Corinthians 12:12)
• Holistic Reconciliation: Just as God’s purpose is to redeem every part of creation, physical as well as spiritual, so God calls his people to join the work of physical, social and spiritual restoration. (John 20:21, Acts 2:42-47)
