Urban Montessori

Whether you have given to UMCS before or not, you can be certain that your donation will be put to very good use.  In our first year, we invested in building our innovative program to serve a wide specturm of children with good results.  Since our last online campaign, we have:

*Been recognized by Ashoka as one of only 30 schools in their prestigious Changemaker School Network

*Built a truly diverse population in which no group is a majority and children interact with peers who are different from themselves in terms of race/ethnicity, socio-economic status, learning differences, language, religion and family structure

*Received over 250 applications for just 60 openings in our school for the upcoming year

But, our work is far from over.  Donate now to support the school as it scales to serve more children and families and fully implement our public Montessori, Arts Integration and Design Thinking model!
