For a half century mankind has been learning, advancing and harnessing nuclear technology. For a half century mankind has misrepresented, demonized and ill-informed society about nuclear technology. Humanity worldwide needs to learn and expound the discernment of truth in all our endeavors. The following are snippets of information for your discernment about the truth in nuclear energy development.

- John Shanahan, President, Environmentalists for Nuclear Energy, http://ecolo.org/base/baseus.htm . In November, 2013 EFN met with 11,513 members, supporters to advance their mission. They are a non-profit 501 (c)(3) tax exempt foundation and their goals are:

1) Providing complete and straight forward information to the public on energy and the environment. 2) Promoting the benefits of nuclear energy for a cleaner world. 3) Uniting people in favor of clean nuclear energy.

- Businesses and citizens owe it to themselves to support energy alternatives that are carbon free and technologically efficient that offer leveling or cost reductions in the future. Nuclear energy needs your SUPPORT. It is cost effective and on the business level it must be assessed as an 80 year business cycle of power production.

- Enviriomental leaders, Greenpeace co-founder Patrick Moore, Whole Earth Catalog founder Stewart Brand support the Yucca Mountain Project and new nuclear technology. The fossil fuels which contribute to global warming hasput new emphasis on nuclear power since it does not produce greenhouse gases.

- Government has been working at development of the nation's spent nuclear fuel program for over 30 years. We support completion of the Yucca Mountain Safety Study. Yucca Mountain is a $96 billion dollar project, (2008). It has employed thousands of world class scientists and engineers, $7 billion has already been invested into its deign study, $37 billion is in an ongoing construction fund. In 2002 the "site designation" was approved again in congress 61-39 in the Senate and 306-117 in the House, it is now an accepted national designated site as a nuclear waste repository for America's nuclear industry. Every day that Nevada acts, without reason to postpone and roadblock the Yucca Mountain construction is costing YOU more tax dollars and is a disservice to the American public.
