USO Missouri

A nonprofit organization

USO Missouri was established in St. Louis on September 21, 1981. We support active-duty military, reserves, National Guard, retired, and military families who live and work throughout the entire state of Missouri. Major service areas include St. Louis Lambert International Airport, Fort Leonard Wood (MO), and Whiteman Air Force Base (MO).

USO at St. Louis Lambert International Airport welcomes over 80,000 military personnel and their families annually, and USO Missouri's statewide activities, as a whole, serve well over 230,000 each year. Other facilities and programs include our Fort Leonard Wood USO, an 18,000 square foot facility on post in central Missouri which serves over 77,000 annually, and multiple military and family support programs, including family and holiday programming. The USO is not part of the federal government. A congressionally chartered, private organization, the USO Missouri relies on the generosity of individuals, organizations and corporations to support its activities, and is powered by a family of over 800 volunteers to accomplish our mission of connection. We receive no government or United Way funding, and all services are provided free of charge.
