U.S.VETS - Long Beach

Founded by veterans to serve veterans, U.S.VETS is the largest non-profit organization with boots on the ground to combat America's homeless veteran crisis head-on. At the Long Beach site, we have the privilege of serving close to 800 veterans and their families daily with the support and resources they need to stay off the streets and regain their self-sufficiency. Our comprehensive approach provides housing, counseling, career and supportive services to help our veterans rebuild and thrive. These programs include transitional housing for male veterans, female veterans, female veterans with children, and non-veteran women's housing. In addition to our transitional housing, we offer permanent housing, Supportive Services for Veteran Families, and workforce development. In the face of the global pandemic, U.S.VETS has remained committed to our holistic approach to treating homelessness by restructuring programs to continue delivering services virtually. Together, we can provide all veterans with every opportunity to live with dignity and independence as they deserve.
