Utah Blues Society

The Utah Blues Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, dedicated to expanding the reach of Blues music, and creating awareness for the Blues throughout Utah.  Through the use of special events, educational programs, concerts, and music workshops, the UBS dedicates time to community outreach.  The UBS partakes in the popular “Blues in Schools” program by reaching out to schools throughout Utah and teaching kids about the history and significance of the Blues in American music and culture, through both lectures and performing music in the classroom. 

The UBS also is a networking resource for Blues artists both locally and nationally. The website already has a listing of Utah Blues bands and contact info therefore, as well as a listing of venues that routinely feature Blues. 

The UBS promotes, preserves, and advances the culture and tradition of Blues music as the great American musical art form that it is.  The UBS hosts an annual fundraising music festival, “The 3rd Annual Utah Blues Festival.”   This will be Saturday, June 17, 2017 featuring national headliners Annika Chambers, Samantha Fish, Rod Piazza & the Mighty Flyers AND Kenny Neal!!!  WOW!
