Ute Perkins Elementary School

Our small rural school, located fifty miles north of Las Vegas, serves a diverse community that includes the Moapa Band of Paiutes Reservation.  We provide our students with a variety of experiences that enhance learning, including before-school tutoring, musical performance groups, and the Miler's Walking/Running Club.  We host Family Nights in Reading, Mathematics, and Science. We arrange field trips to allow students to experience fine arts performances and real-world science. We rely heavily on technology to ensure that our students develop 21st Century skills so that they are fully prepared participate in the global economy by being college and carrer-ready.
