Victim Outreach Intervention Center (VOICe)

VOICe is a systems change organization that provides free and confidential services to individuals and families who are victims of violent crime. VOICe works within the community to bring about social change and to provide survivors with the resources, tools, and options that allow them to assert their personal power and self determination.

Victim Outreach Intervention Center (VOICe) has been the sole provider of free and confidential services for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and other violent crimes in Butler County since 1978. Our mission is to work within the community to bring about social change and to provide survivors with the resources, tools, and options that allow them to assert their personal power and self determination.
VOICe is the product of a merger in the year 2000 between Crime Victim Services, a rape crisis center, and Volunteers Against Abuse Center, a domestic violence program and emergency crisis shelter. VOICe was the first organization to voluntarily create such a merger in the state of Pennsylvania. Both organizations began as grassroots volunteer agencies and VOICe continues to live through the grassroots philosophy. VOICe has grown from four women sitting around a kitchen table to a staff of 32 professionals with an emergency crisis shelter, three outreach offices, a transitional living facility and two additional supportive housing programs.
VOICe's free and confidential services include, but are not limited to: a 24-hour toll-free hotline, emergency crisis shelter, individual and group counseling for adults and children, legal & medical advocacy, community education, prevention programs within every school district in the county, training to professionals and free Civil Legal Representation to survivors of domestic violence for custody orders, Protection From Abuse orders, support orders and divorce.
