Valley Community Health Centers

The Grand Forks/East Grand Forks communities are vibrant, compassionate and a wonderful places to live. However, did you know that in some neighborhoods over 50% of the people who live there, live in poverty? In some school districts nearly 70% of the kids receive a free or reduced lunch? All this while unemployment is at a record low. Many in our community are working hard, just not making enough to live. For many, receiving primary or preventative health care is nearly impossible. We can do better. And we are.

Valley Community Health Centers (VCHC) is preparing to open a medical clinic in May, 2014. Located at 212 South 4th Street, Grand Forks, ND - just above VCHC's dental clinic - the Community Health Center will soon provide:

• Primary and Preventative Medical Care
• Dental Care
• Behavioral Health / Mental Health Services

 

Partnerships are key to our success. Valley Community Health Centers has worked closely with the City of Grand Forks, Altru hospital, and many non-profit organizations to build key collaborations and avoid duplication of services.
