Valley Cdc

Valley CDC was formed in 1988 to address the growing needs of our community that were a result of the loss of blue collar jobs in the Pioneer Valley and the shortage of affordable housing. 

We believe that everyone deserves a place to call home, but this can seem like an unattainable goal when housing accounts for more than 50% of household costs for low-income families, which means there isn't much left over for basic needs like food and clothing. Having a place that you can afford to live in, where you feel safe, and that you're proud to call home - it makes all the difference. The development of safe, affordable homes is a fundamental component of Valley CDC's mission. 

We know that our community is only as strong as its members and so we work hard to meet the needs of residents and local businesses, giving them the tools and knowledge that empower them to become community leaders. Whether it's a couple looking to buy their first home or an entrepreneur with a great idea, we are dedicated to making those dreams a reality.
