The Valley of the Sun Y has been integral in enhancing the health and livelihood of individuals and families through dynamic programs that ultimately strengthen and enrich our communities.

Providing programming that encompasses youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, the Y annually serves 400,000 individuals through its 17 branches, strategically located from Yuma to Mayer.

Your gift to the Y ensures:

• Income based scholarships for YMCA programs
• An education for vulnerable, at-risk youth
• Job readiness and training for those struggling with poverty and unemployment
• Second chances for teens needing support to overcome violence and crime
• Nutrition support for hungry children living in low-income homes
• Independence and community enrichment for the elderly
• Diabetes prevention and healthy lifestyle programs to encourage well-being and prevent disease

All revenue raised through the campaign is reserved for full and/or partial program scholarships for those individuals, youth and families in need in the community.

The Valley of the Sun YMCA’s annual campaign is the single most important activity this year as our communities face serious economic challenges and can aspire to overcome these challenges through the Y’s far-reaching, community-minded programs and services.
